2.) Volunteer your time: 
School tutoring programs and after school programs use volunteer help.

Volunteer application form is on line.
5 sites.  After school and Saturday programs support education, health and life skills, sports.

3.) Monroe Co. Library system   www.libraryweb.org
Call 428-8450 for information or call a neighborhood branch library
Volunteers work at after-school Teen Centers at several branches where  computers are available. for teen use
Other offerings such as reading a story hour with younger children are available at some sites. 

4.) Third Presbyterian Church, Rochester,  supports tutoring programs at School #6 and School #35.  Call 585-271-6513 for  information, or email SMASUE1@hotmail.com.    These programs use volunteers during the school day only.
